The Shine Through Survey™ is a service offered freely to qualified property owners and managers in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. The Survey is a $4,000 value and is designed to accomplish the following:

• Visually inspect current Window and Door systems for apparent problems.
• Estimate performance of current systems against industry standards.
• Check for likely compliance with applicable codes.
• Compare current solution to alternate scenarios.

The Softer Lite Shine Through Survey consists of both Basic and optional Premium Services:

Basic Services

• Visual inspection for insulated glass.
• Test ease of operation.
• Visual inspection of frame condition.
• Check weather stripping.
• Evaluate caulk condition.
• Visually inspect steel lintels and sills.
• Look for water damage.
• Estimate compliance with local codes.
• Determine viability of system retrofit.
• Make recommendations.

Premium Services

• Infrared thermography.
• Test windows for leaks against AAMA standards.
• Other inspection types upon request.

Please note that Premium Services are delivered by a third party and could require invasive testing. Premium Services are delivered under terms and conditions established between you and known and trusted third parties.
