Softer Lite has executed and supported literally hundreds of large projects in its nearly fifty years in business. Most of our work has been performed in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas; but we have also done large projects in other areas of the country, including Kansas City and St. Louis.

Softer Lite is currently working on multiple projects. One of the most significant is at 15th and Morgan in Chicago called University Commons.

We are installing Traco TR-9100 single hung windows, TR-8924 French doors and TR-2500 project-out transoms into 900 condo units. This is a conversion project of six original produce market buildings.

State historic guidelines required Traco to create new extrusion dies to match the original door pattern and create true divided muntins for the doors and transoms. Softer Lite worked closely with the customer, Enterprise Companies, and Traco to achieve the necessary objectives.
